This trilingual dictionary is a monumental achievement in Mising lexicography. Late Tabu Ram Taid worked on compiling the lexicon for years, bridging the phonetic and semantic gaps between Mising, Assamese, and English. It remains the primary reference dictionary for scholars and students today.
Published in 1995 by the Mising Agom Kebang (the Mising Sahitya Sabha), the work was instrumental in standardising Mising orthography and vocabulary at a time when the language existed largely in oral form. By aligning Mising entries with their Assamese and English equivalents, the dictionary gave the community a practical tool for education, translation, and inter-community communication.
