Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. The Taburam Taid Memorial Trust website is structurally conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Built-in Accessibility Features
This portal provides built-in accessibility controls in the top utility bar of every page:
- Text Resizing: Users can scale the global font size up or down (A- / A / A+) to suit their visual preference.
- Color Contrast Themes: Four distinct curated themes (Default, Heritage Crimson, Blue, Coffee) are available to optimize legibility on all displays.
- Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements, including menus, search overlays, and photo galleries, feature prominent focus outline states and support standard keyboard controls.
- Skip Links: A "Skip to main content" link is available for keyboard and screen-reader users to bypass primary navigation.
