The Taburam Taid Memorial Trust

The Taburam Taid Memorial Trust has been established with the following primary objectives:

1. Linguistic Preservation & Promotion
   Promote and preserve the languages and dialects studied and advocated by Late Tabu Ram Taid, with a special focus on the development of the Mising language.

2. Support Research and Scholarship
   Support research and scholarship in the fields of Art, Culture, and Ethnology, with particular emphasis on the traditions and practices of indigenous communities of India, especially North-East India.

3. Educational Seminars & Public Outreach
   Organize workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and lectures to educate the public on cultural diversity and linguistic heritage as emphasized by Late Tabu Ram Taid.

4. Scholarships, Grants, and Fellowships
   Establish scholarships, grants, and fellowships for students and researchers contributing to the fields of Language, Art, and Ethnology.

5. Academic Publications
   Publish and disseminate research, findings, and teachings of Late Tabu Ram Taid and other scholars working in relevant disciplines.

The Taburam Taid Memorial Trust operates several active programs to carry forward its founding objectives.

1. Museum and Library Operations

The Trust maintains and manages the physical Tabu Ram Taid Memorial Museum and Library located at Gogamukh, Dhemaji, Assam. The center serves as a major repository of historical manuscripts, linguistic records, and physical heritage artifacts from the region.

2. Scholarly Publications

We publish and distribute books, articles, and research compilations authored by Late Tabu Ram Taid and contemporary researchers working on indigenous North-East Indian languages. Key works are digitized and made available through our publications portal.

3. Language and Grammar Workshops

In collaboration with community associations like the Mising Agom Kebang, the Trust conducts training sessions and workshops for teachers and language enthusiasts to standardize grammar and spelling instruction.

4. Community Seminars and Exhibitions

The Trust regularly hosts seminars and public exhibitions focused on linguistic diversity, folk art, and the ethnological history of indigenous Assamese communities.

5. Fellowships and Awards
