Resolutions Adopted at the Trust Executive Meeting, Gogamukh

The Executive Committee of the Taburam Taid Memorial Trust convened at Gogamukh on 26 June 2026 to deliberate on the forthcoming programmes and organisational priorities of the Trust. After detailed discussion, the following resolutions were adopted:

1. The observance of the 84th Birth Anniversary of Prof. Taburam Taid and the accompanying award-giving ceremony shall be held at Cotton University on 1 August 2026.
2. The committee for the selection of the awardee and the books has been constituted as follows:
   • Mr. Pramod Kalita — Secretary, Asom Prakashan Parishad
   • Dr. Arabinda Rajkhowa — noted author and critic
   • Dr. Sadananda Payeng — Principal, ADP College, Nagaon
   • Dr. Mridul Bordoloi — Professor, Dibrugarh University
   • Mr. Dushyanta Narah — Assistant Professor, Subansiri College
3. A one-day seminar shall be organised ten days before the event at the Prof. TR Taid Memorial Library and Museum, Gogamukh.
4. An organising committee shall be constituted for the Cotton University programme.
5. Five hundred library user members shall be enrolled at a user fee of ₹500/- per annum.
6. The committee advised conducting regular activities at the Prof. TR Taid Memorial Library and Museum.
7. The meeting resolved that every trustee shall contribute a minimum trustee fee of ₹10,000/- to the Trust account.
